  • From the Roaster:
Seasonally sourced slammin’ single origin coffees since day 1. We select only the tastiest, nuanced, out of this world coffees and do our best to represent them and non F ‘em up.

  • From the Roaster: El Vergel is located in the beautiful Departament of Tolima spanning across the mountains in Colombia, it is one of the oldest traditional single estates in the region. The farm is on the slopes of the snowy mountains of el Ruiz, an inactive volcano that has created nutrient-rich soil. Shady & Elias Bayter’s fathers started farming avocados in 1995. In 2012, they planted coffee in a few of their micro lots, and in 2016 converted the entire farm to coffee. They started a varietals program in the highest part of their farm with Gesha, Java, Pacamara, Red Borbon, Laurina, and Caturra.

  • TASTING NOTES
    Strawberry, Guava, Dark Chocolate

    ORIGIN
    Tomila, Colombia

  • From the Roaster:
Michael and Cherita Rice started Mad Priest Coffee Roasters in 2015 as a small-batch specialty coffee roasting company + a social enterprise with the mission to “Craft excellent coffee. Educate the curious. Champion the displaced.” and we currently operate our roastery and two retail locations in Chattanooga, TN.

From the beginning, our goal has been to run a sustainable, for-profit business with a triple bottom line that includes social and environmental goals alongside the economic ones. We are righteously indignant about racism & inequality in our country as well as the current unprecedented global refugee crisis. This includes hiring resettled refugees & ex-cons, and working alongside our community partners on larger issues of social justice & equity. When it comes to the environment, we are greenlight certified, we've implemented a coffee bag recycling rewards program for our customers, and our used coffee grounds, burlap coffee sacks, and coffee chaff go to local farmers.

We source the highest quality coffee beans through the best specialty importers from some of the most responsible farms around the world. And we roast our unique coffees from emerging origins in South America, Africa, and Asia to bring out the best characteristics of each bean. We have Specialty Coffee Association certifications, multiple coffee awards, years of experience in the industry, and we are constantly continuing our coffee education. But most of all, we want to make the best quality coffee accessible and approachable for curious people from every race & culture.

  • From the Roaster:
Our best selling single-origin! From the Colectivo, Los Naranjos, we've been buying this coffee from Caravela almost since our inception! One of our staple coffees, available year-round, we always appreciate the consistency and flavor of this coffee.

Roasted light to medium, we aim to give it a nice sweetness with a medium body, while maintaining the natural acidity due to its high elevation.

  • TASTING NOTES
    blueberry, lemonade, peach, chocolate, hibiscus

    ORIGIN
    Huila, Colombia

  • From the Roaster:
Progeny was Co-founded by Maria Palacio and John Trabelsi.

Maria witnessed firsthand the struggle to maintain a living through coffee. When she moved to the U.S. and saw that coffee shops sold a cup for more than $5, she knew someone had to do something to help her community back home. But it's not until she brought John to Colombia that the two of them started brainstorming on a company that would provide a high-end customer experience and takes care of its farmers.

Their passion for uplifting others has helped them build a flourishing business and overcome small business obstacles in a crowded market multiple times.

They’re on a journey to create the first international impact-driven coffee company.

  • From the Roaster:
A 2022 Good Foods Award winner. In a cup of Piñita, you’re going to experience an array of flavors that are complex yet delicate. The flavors come across your palate so delicately it has you savoring each drop. The fragrance and aromatics are reminiscent of a fresh bouquet of flowers, a hint of malt, and brown spice to round it out. The flavors of strawberry, vanilla, and tropical fruit dance on your taste buds ever so lightly. The acidity is soft and a bit herbal while the body of this coffee has a buttery and smooth finish. As this coffee begins to cool the flavors open up yet again with notes of guava, yellow fruit and the body becomes a bit more creamy. Piñita is a treat for those that enjoy fruity coffees but are not a huge fan of the lingering fruity thick mouthfeel some naturals have. We recommend you take some time and prepare yourself a nice pour-over of this coffee to experience its full flavor potential.

  • TASTING NOTES
    Vanilla, Yellow Fruit, Strawberry

    ORIGIN
    Chinchina, Caldas, Colombia
