The 2021 Special Edition Holiday Box and Stocking Stuffers includes four seasonal blends from around the country: Populace Coffee Roasters (Bay City, Michigan), Olympia Coffee (Olympia, WA), Ceremony Coffee Roasters (Baltimore, MD) and Dogwood Coffee Company (Minneapolis, MN).

Populace was born in Bay City, Michigan in 2010 and prioritizes local land and water conservation. Check out their new conservation bags with a share of revenue going back to Michigan land conservancies.

From the Roaster: Each year we release Joyeux in anticipation of the Holiday Season. It is a coffee to drink while you enjoy the company of your friends and family, while you give thanks for what you have, or while you cheers to the year’s accomplishments.
When Joyeux comes back on the menu, we get so excited knowing all the Joy that is in store this holiday season!
Joyeux is a blend of coffees from Narino, Colombia and the Limu region of Ethiopia. The result is a very balanced and comforting coffee with notes of milk chocolate, toffee, and candied fruit.

The coffees that make it up come from opposite sides of the world and are also very different in flavor, but when blended together they create something special that’s representative of our favorite flavors of the season. Guatemala El Templo, from the region of Huehuetenango, is packed with flavors of chocolate, caramel, and sweetness. Ethiopia Yirgacheffe takes over to add the holiday magic, bringing forth flavors of candied citrus and the aroma of fresh-cut Christmas Trees. It truly is the perfect gift this season.
Like all of our coffees, Holiday Blend meets our Fair For All sourcing standard, which sets guidelines for how our coffee purchases can improve quality of life for people at every step of this coffee's production.”

The components meld together well, and most people will like it. We leave this blend open to change depending on the season, our offerings and what tastes yummy. It's a crowd pleaser, or it's for that special someone that you don't want to scare away with either Norwegian black metal or Jewel.
