This month we are featuring three sticky sweet single origin coffees from our friends at Goshen Coffee Roasters, Kuma Coffee, and Cognoscenti Coffee Roasters.

From Edwardsville, IL, Goshen Coffee Roasters is featuring their ‘Fazenda Frutas’ roast with tasting notes of grapes, mixed nuts, and jam.

From Seattle, WA, Kuma Coffee is highlighting their ‘Adorsi’ coffee with blackberry jam, apricot and green tea notes.

From Los Angeles, CA, Cognoscenti Coffee Roasters is featuring their ‘Corazon’ brew with hints of fuji apple, fig jam, pear, and walnut.

  • Shortened from “Good Shit Energy,” Goshen Coffee Roasters not only roasts award winning coffee, but they are also committed to sharing good vibes with both coffee lovers and growers. This family owned, women-led roaster from southern Illinois is committed to a farmer-friendly system they call “cultivated trade.” Instead of paying their partners just enough to sustain their farms, Goshen gives much more so that these communities can thrive.

  • Chasing after nostalgic memories, Farmer Josue Morales and Goshen Coffee have worked closely together to grow a coffee that has the natural flavor profile of PB&J.

  • Beginning as a small garage operation in 2008, Kuma Coffee is dedicated to quality coffee over everything else. Although it’s been a few years, this coffee roaster is still run by a small passionate team in Seattle. Kuma Coffee is also passionate about their fair trade relationships with coffee farmers around the world, ensuring positive relationships with everyone involved.

  • Grown at 1950-2150 MASL in the Aricha Village in Ethiopia and harvested in January, these beans make a perfect medium to light cup of coffee.

  • TASTING NOTES: blackberry jam, apricot, green tea

  • Although Cognoscenti Coffee Roasters has three locations in Los Angeles and have been roasting coffee since 2009, they are still run with a small team of dedicated and passionate coffee lovers. Focused on sustainability and great coffee, Cognoscenti has a simple goal: make great coffee.

  • Grown by the Alvarado Family in the most southern region of Costa Rica called Brunca, these coffee beans have gone through a honey process and have been dry milled.

  • TASTING NOTES: fuji apple, fig jam, pear, walnut
