The December 2022 ‘Star Roasters’ Box celebrates the end of the year with award winning roasters and roasts. This year, we’ve teamed up with 2018 Good Foods Award Winner Revel Coffee (Billings, MT) to feature their 96-point Ethiopia Wush Wush and two recent Roast Magazine Roaster of the Year Award Winners: 2021 Greater Goods Coffee Co. (Austin, TX) and 2019 Dragonfly Coffee Roasters (Henderson, NV).

The November 2022 Box celebrates Halloween by showcasing three roasters from the nation’s spookiest cities. From the Salem, Massachusetts Witch Trials, to America’s most haunted city, New Orleans, and the paranormal hotspot of Portland, Oregon, we’ve found incredible coffee roasters and brews nestled away in these petrifying places.

The October 2022 ‘Music City’ Box features three spectacular roasters that you will find when roaming the rhythmic streets of Nashville, Tennessee. The country music capital, known for its big stars and music industry, also sports some of the nation’s premiere roasters and cafes. This month, we teamed up with our friends at Honest Coffee Roasters, Steadfast Coffee Roasters and Elixr Coffee Roasters that each have roasteries or cafes sprinkled across the ‘Music City’.

The September 2022 Kona Coffee Box brings three 100% Kona coffees from the Big Island of Hawaii. One of the most expensive coffees in the world, Kona coffee brings a delicious taste that benefits from the region’s unique microclimate, long tradition of handpicking beans and rich volcanic soils of the slopes of Hualalai and Mauna Loa. This month we are excited to share out partners: Big Island Coffee Roasters (Mountain View, HI), Bad Ass Coffee (Lahaina, HI), and Koa Coffee (Honaunau, HI).

The August 2022 Taste of Colombia Coffee Box features three premium roasters with beans originating from Colombia: Abracadabra Coffee Co. (Woodstock, VT), Progeny Coffee (Oakland, CA) and Mad Priest Coffee (Chattanooga, TN).

The July 2022 Beantown Box features three roasters Boston, Massachusetts and the surrounding area. Boston’s nickname of “Beantown” stems from its Colonial era favorite regional dish “Boston Baked Beans”, which are slow cooked in molasses. The July box includes Broadsheet Coffee (Cambridge, MA), Gracenote Coffee (Boston, MA) and George Howell Coffee (Acton, MA).

The 2022 New Origins Box showcases three roasters from Durham, NC, Seattle, WA and Dallas, TX. Each of the beans in this month’s box are sourced from a country not yet featured by Pour Ta Coffee: Mexico, Myanmar and Vietnam. The box includes coffee from Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters who were 2018 and 2022 Good Food Awards winners, Little Waves Coffee who won the 2022 Roast Magazine ‘Microroaster of the Year’ and the Seattle coffee community staple Broadcast Coffee.

The 2022 Bird Friendly Box showcases three roasters from Fort Bragg, CA, Crofton, MD and Pittsburgh, PA. Each of the coffees selected for this month’s box has met the Smithsonian’s rigorous “Bird Friendly Coffee” standards requiring 100% organic certified beans, no use of pesticides and stringent conservation practices that support forested lands for birds and other wildlife.
